The Known and The Unknown
This exhibition brings together an eclectic variety of art. While
it will feature well-known artists such as Van Gogh, Koons, Picasso, Renoir, Delacroix, Victor Hugo, Van Dyck and Rubens,
it will also include artists that are less famous such as Lobo, Lapicque, Esteve and Chaissac. Its mission is to question fame, speed and fashion as well as to emphasize the importance of quality and patience. In an ever faster spinning world where we can check the news, our bank statements, our emails, our social media updates in seconds, it is easy to ignore the significance of patience. Collections tend to take decades to form and often span multiple generations.
We believe this very slow movement is a key part of art appreciation and want to showcase it in this unique exhibition.
